English Naturally offer courses in Winchester, Bath, London, Cape Town and Dorset.

Our UK family-based course centres are Winchester and Bath. You can fly to any London airport and get to Winchester or Bath easily on excellent motorways or by train. Or why not get a flight to Southampton (for Winchester - just 10 minutes) or Bristol (for Bath - 15 minutes by car).

Winchester (host family)

Winchester is a safe, friendly, prosperous city with lots of good restaurants and pubs. It is the ancient capital of England and it has a world-famous cathedral. Winchester is surrounded by lovely countryside. The beautiful river Itchen runs through the town and there are many walks and nature reserves. Winchester is also famous for its College (a prestigious, private school) which has educated many of Britain's famous men.

From Winchester you can easily visit London (only 56 minutes by train). You can also visit Stonehenge, Oxford, the beautiful Dorset Jurassic coast, the beaches at Bournemouth and the New Forest National Park, with its wild horses and deer.

Bath (host family)

Bath is a beautiful city, set on the river Avon. UNESCO designate it a World Heritage Site, because of its architectural importance. The Romans developed Bath from 47AD and during the 18th and 19th centuries it was a famous cultural centre, attracting people such as Jane Austen, the novelist and William Wordsworth, the poet. Today, Bath is a city of around 70.000 with a lively cultural atmosphere but with lovely countryside nearby.

From Bath, you can easily visit Bristol, Stonehenge, London, Oxford and South Wales. Or, for the more adventurous, the atlantic coasts of Devon and Cornwall (the West Country). Hire a car for the weekend and explore! (car hire is quite cheap in the UK).

Cape Town (host family)

Cape Town is the most popular tourist destination in South Africa.  Presided over by Table Mountain and on the southern edge of the African continent, it has a great year-round climate, fantastic beaches, friendly locals.  There is lots to do in the city and the immediate area, including penguin and whale-watching, as well as visting the world-famous vineyards and Garden Coast.

Jurassic Coast, Dorset ("Walk and Talk" host family and B+B)

The Jurassic Coast in Dorset (between Bournemouth and Weymouth on our UK map) is part of the 800-mile long "South-west coast path", an uninterrupted path that runs through some of the UK's most beautiful counties - Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.
